1. Ecology- The study of the relations between organisms with each other and their enviornment.
2. Biotic Factors- The living, or once living, factors of the ecosystem.
3. Abiotic Factors- The factors of the ecosystem that are not, nor will ever be, living.
4. Competiton- Rivalry between organisms to get a common resource.
5. Predation- The interatction between organisms by which the predator eats the prey.
6. Predator- An organism that kills other organisims for their own benefit.
7. Prey- The organism that gets hunted by the predator.
8.Symbiosis- Interaction between organisms that live closely together and both are benifited.
9. Mutualism- Symbiosis that results in the benifit of both organisms.
10. Commensalism- Symbiosis that results in on organism benefitting while the other is neither benefitted or harmed.
11. Parasitism- Symbiosis that results in one organism benefitting and the other is harmed.
12. Carrying Capacity- the amount of organisms that one area can hold.
